Welcome to MSPIkids.info and the world of MSPI or milk/soy protein intolerance.  Your head may be reeling right now after having your child (or yourself) be diagnosed with MSPI.  I know that I was!!  But, though it may seem hard right now, with time it will become so much easier.  Take a look around, read the article and print the food list to take to the grocery store.  Then email us some suggestions if you'd like!  I am always willing to listen and learn from another parent as we are all here to support each other in this ride.   Check out the recipe blog and then email a recipe yourself!!  Either way......welcome again!!

This site is dedicated to my daughter Jennifer who suffered from reflux, asthma and eczema for 2 years before being diagnosed with MSPI.  When she was first diagnosed I was hoping this would be the answer for her and it was, but the first several weeks were quite hard.

Getting used to what she could and couldn’t now eat was a challenge. Toddlers are picky by nature and we were going to be taking many of her favorite foods away.  Just after she was diagnosed I went to the grocery store and spent 2 hours there and left with 2 products!!  This was reality for those first few weeks.  But with time it got so much easier.

I put this site together (along with my Dad’s so appreciated help) to help the next Mom in my shoes.  And so you don’t have to leave the doctor’s office with this diagnosis and spend 2 hours in the store leaving with only 2 products.  Also so that you know that it will make a world of difference for your daughter or son just like it did mine.  Jen was like a new kid after 2 weeks on the milk and soy free diet.

If you have questions that you don’t find the answers to here please feel free to email me.  I will do my best to help you.  Please remember that the site is alwasy a work in progress so it may take some time to find the answer.  But I do look forward to helping you along your child’s MSPI journey.
